My music is an eclectic mix of concert works for singers, choirs, instrumentalists and ensembles.

I imagine a soundworld that is obliquely lyrical, rhythmically refracted, and harmonically piquant, combining expressive beauty of sound with craftsmanship and intellectual rigour.

Newly completed in June 2026 - Ships of Now, for chorus and orchestra, setting poems by E. E. Cummings
Prelude, Cumulation, Trio (2015) received an honourable mention in the 4Seasons Vienna International Musician Competition 2024. (Listen)
2024 saw the completion of Fractions and Muscles (a set of 17 short piano pieces) and the Sinfoniettina for 11 instruments, as well as the composition of Belle Vue Variations for trumpet, piano and 'cello. (Listen to a selection of Fractions and Muscles)
